LVCA was very excited to welcome VC and PE community at the Baltic VC Summit 2018 in Riga! This was the eighth time regional Private Equity and Venture Capital professionals gathered for an annual Summit. It started with a few of us meeting in the small Latvian town of Sigulda to discuss the development of the industry. This year we were 250 strong and the Summit expanded to 3 days thanks to side events. It is not only the increase in the number of participants and the duration. It proves the maturation of the industry in the region. It also reflects the growing understanding of the importance of regional cooperation and networking.
