Foundation for Support Staff
What is it?
This foundation course is aimed at those staff who are not directly involved with investments but who want to learn about the key aspects of the private equity business and enhance their own contribution to the success of the organisation that they work in. The course is most useful to junior support staff members (not more than 2 years in the private equity industry).
The course is designed around an interactive business simulation game where participants will step into the shoes of fund managers and will go through the full PE fund investment cycle, from forming a PE fund to exiting and raising a subsequent fund.
This course will allow participants to:
- Improve their knowledge of vocabulary specific to the private equity and venture capital industry.
- Discuss the different stages in private equity investments and understand their implications in terms of administrative support
- Perform more efficiently thanks to a better understanding of the private equity context
